Say Hello to Eighty Seven Park by Renzo Piano
Renzo Piano is an Italian architect and engineer who has been featured in TIME as one of the 100 most influential people in the world. He was also awarded the prestigious Pritzker Prize, an award given to architects “whose built work demonstrates a combination of…talent, vision and commitment, which has produced consistent and significant contributions to humanity and the built environment through the art of architecture”.
Some of Piano’s famous works include the New York Times Building and the Shard in London. Piano is now setting his sights on Miami Beach, with plans to build an eighteen story building glass and steel building in the North Beach area set to be called Eighty Seven Park. The building is expected to have a total of 68 units starting at $2 million, with about 2,600 square feet of living area. That size may seem unusually small, but the developer Terra is positioning Eighty Seven Park as a second or third home property.
Residential features at Eighty Seven Park will include summer kitchens, al fresco dining rooms, and expansive terraces. Concierge, an outdoor juice bar, a makeup and hair salon, and even a full-time botanist will be available as part of the amenities.
