When developers Avra Jain and the Terra Group bought the random-looking Regions Bank building on the corner of 36th Street and Biscayne Boulevard, there was some speculation as to their plans for it, but when they snapped up three plots next door, nobody seemed to notice. But grand plans were cooking. Although they’re just renovating and hanging on to the building for the moment (yawn), sooner or later (when the economy doesn’t suck so much) the duo plans to redevelop the entire site into more than a million square feet of mixed-use space. And that’s all we know. Whamo!
