An Epic Sequel Is in the Works

Remember the site of the former Epic East?  Despite recent reports that the condo market may be softening, there are plans in the works to create a new condominium building in the former site of Epic East, located along the Miami River.

The tentatively titled Epic 2 will be a 70-story luxury condominium occupying just over an acre parcel of land.  The building will pierce the Miami skyline at 817 feet and will have a total of 384 residential Miami condos for sale plus parking spaces for over 500 vehicles.  The developer Riverwalk East Development is looking to appeal to “foreign buyers with big bucks.”

The most unusual and distinctive feature of Epic 2 will likely be its 70th floor which will be designed in the shape of a sail and will actually have a lighthouse.  Upon its completion it will be located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way.

Whether or not the Epic 2 ultimately sees the light of day, the original Epic in Miami located next door is open and has units available for sale.  The 54-story building has one, two, and three bedroom condos for sale and it also includes a series of hotel suites.
