Baltus Goes Bust, But Don’t Worry, Related Already Bought All The Furniture For Baltus House

Luxury furniture maker Baltus has reportedly shuttered all of its stores, including the one in the Design District that didn’t have an air conditioning system good enough to handle the crowds at the launch party for Baltus House, the building Related filled with its furnitureand Baltus-designed interiors and named after it, and gone out of business. That’s the bad news. The good news is (A) nobody will have to suffer through another sweltering hot party in that store, and (B) according to Related president Carlos Rosso, the interiors and furniture are done at Baltus House, even though that project is still under construction.
