The Baz Luhrmann, filmmaker extraordinaire, and his wife and fellow filmmaker Catherine Martin have been hired by Alan Faena to join the star studded creative team at Faena District Miami Beach—including Rem Koolhaas, Roman & Williams, Lord Norman Foster, etc. etc…—according to Faena’s people.“Additional details concerning this unprecedented collaboration will be forthcoming.” say the Faena People, and that’s it. The rest is a mystery. What could Baz be doing? Could it be a new as-yet-unannounced element to the massive development? Could Baz be working on a mystery project at the already super-fantastical Faena District?? Are Baz and Cat be doing something at the Versailles??? Our-minds-are-blowing-up.
