Elysee Residences Gets the Green Light
New Miami condos are always pushing the limits in height, and it seems like there is a new building announced every week. The East Edgewater neighborhood, in particular, has seen a surfeit of developments built with new ones on the horizon. One of these is the Elysee Residences by Two Roads Development and Miami architect Bernardo Fort-Brescia of Arquitectonica, a 57 story building piercing the skyline at 649 feet. Because of its sheer stature, one of the major hurdles preventing the building from moving forward was receiving the okay from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
We are happy to report that the FAA has given Elysee Residences the ok to proceed with development, which is expected to be completed by 2018, Elysee Residences is expected to have 100 luxury units with up to 4,000 square feet of living area. These units will have three to five bedrooms, and there will also be duplexes and full floor penthouses available. Only two units will be on each floor, ensuring residents a tremendous amount of privacy and quietude. Amenity spaces throughout the building are being designed by French interior designer Jean-Louis Deniot.
