ENTERTAINMENT COMPLEX COMING TO MIDTOWN MIAMI
The vacant, heavily verdant area known to locals as “Jurassic Park” will soon be the home of a $60 million project including a 220,000 square foot retail center with a premium movie theatre and a 200-room boutique hotel according to the South Florida Business Journal.
New York developer Jack Cayre stated he’s in the final stages of negotiations with a potential partner and is currently seeking tenants for stores and restaurants. Cayre envisions an up-scale movie theatre offering a variety of food and drink with a full wait staff to bring orders directly to your seats and also a sit-down dining area, all with alcoholic beverages on the menu.
With construction beginning possibly within a year Cayre stated, “The market has come back a lot faster than anyone could have imagined.”
The complex is slated to boost the economy and attract visitors from surrounding areas to Midtown Miami according to Oscar Rodriquez, principal of ROC Development and formerly of the Related Group. “I live in downtown and visit Midtown for all my needs,” Rodriquez stated. “Restaurants, Target. The only thing I can’t go to Midtown for is movies.”
Spanning three acres between southeast residential towers and the Shops at Midtown Miami, the complex will add sparkle to Miami’s already glistening future. If you looking for a home in the urban- chic Midtown neighborhood contact SoBe Luxury Homes – the first class real estate service in Miami.
