Great Restaurants to Try This Weekend

The weekend is here!  Have you decided on any plans yet?  If you’re in the mood to try a new dish or want to go out to eat, we’ve got several suggestions on great restaurants to try out.  You may just find a favorite among our list!

Michael Beltran is the sous chef at Coconut Grove’s Ariete restaurant, considered to be one of the best restaurants not only in “The Grove”, but in all of Miami. Featuring American cuisine, the ambiance is wonderfully laid back and friendly.  Ariete is located at 3540 Main Highway.

If you’re looking for something a little more retro-chic, visit the Continental Miami on Collins Avenue in Miami Beach by restaurateur Stephen Starr.  Guests can dine on food like cheesesteak spring rolls, drink tiki cocktails, or even build their own sushi.

Also in Miami Beach is the oddly named DIRT restaurant. Contrary to its name the restaurant features a health conscious menu that caters to various diets including vegans and meat eaters.  Diners will find a selection of steak and cheese wraps plus fresh juices, salads, and more.  DIRT is located at 232 5th Street.
