Here’s a thought! Miami could be America’s next great architectural city. And we don’t just mean the U.S. of A., but all of the Americas. Archdaily points out the plethora of new projects by big names popping up all over town: two (possibly three) Bjarke Ingels projects, three by Herzog & de Meuron, one or two Rem Koolhaas designs, a Zaha Hadid here and there, a Lord Norman Foster, and so many Enrique Norten projects that we’ve lost count. Why is all this happening? Well, Miami’s awesome, and that’s pretty much the only explanation needed. Oh, and we forgot to mention, Frank Gehry’s hard at work on his second Miami cultural campus.
