Lobby Renderings Are First Interior Views Of Jade Signature
The starchitects Herzog & de Meuron-designed condo tower in Sunny Isles Beach, Jade Signature, has finally given the world a peek at its lobby, a high, long space that slices through the building’s core, with two big glass walls, a front desk that looks like a marble womb, and a sculptural grand staircase that kind of disappears because of its glass railings. (hat tip: buzzbuzzhome) Ok, obviously these renderings aren’t doing the best job at selling the staircase, which is hardly visible, but the pre-natal enveloping feeling of the front desk, and a corrosponding lounge area in deep woods across the room is very striking.
The building has been quite the exhibitionist showing off its exteriors with plentiful renderings of lush gardens and swoopy driveways, but until this lobby we hadn’t seen one single view of the building’s interiors, which are being designed by Pierre-Yves Rochon, except for the stereotypical glassy corner unit living room shot that (except for the big-ass balcony) could be any building. So, there ya go.
