Miami Central Station Train Hub Finally Opening This Fall
Curbed Miami
by Sean McCaughan
After years of construction, the Miami Central Station, the last phase of the Miami Intermodal Center, is officially opening this fall. The “crown jewel” of the MIC, which already looks pretty much done as it is, will add TriRail and Amtrak service, creating “Miami-Dade’s first all inclusive ground transportation hub”. The rail links are in addition to Metrorail, buses, the airport connector, and the Center’s large, temple-like, rental car center, which was the first phase to open. Kinda makes you wonder what the real crown jewel of this place is.
