Ian Schrager’s new additions to the midcentury Seville Hotel on the hotel’s journey to its new incarnation as the Marriott Edition are beginning to take shape. The new tower, behind the current building (the location of this penthouse), is on its way to reaching its full height. Meanwhile, that horseshoe shaped guest room wing where the cabana colony used to be seems a whole lot taller in real life than in the renderings we saw. But maybe plans changed? That rooftop lounge on the original hotel has disappeared too. We’re keeping our eyes open for newer renderings, so if you’ve got the scoop, do let us know.IMG_0298.jpg
