The Design District in Miami welcomes a new Prada store, designed by architect Roberto Baciocchi, to the neighborhood. The 360 square meter store will feature womenswear, leather goods, footwear, and accessories. The beautiful new store has been outfitted with glass tables, a brightly lit façade, and display niches accented with polished steel frames. Crystal and glass serve as sparking displays for footwear while pale green curtains and velvety green ?Clover Leaf? sofas by Verner Panton add a touch of color to the space.

What was once a run-down area of Miami has become a hub of creative energies, joining art, fashion, and more after master planners and architects Duany Plater-Zyberk, Walter Chatham, Hariri and Hariri, Juan Lezcano, Terence Reilly, and Alison Spear unified to design what is now the newly revamped Design District. Here, visitors can discover some of the world?s highest end fashion while also perusing art galleries, such as Adamar Fine Arts and The Haitian Heritage Museum, as well as stopping into Orange Café Art or The Blue Piano for a gourmet lunch. |
