Related Group plans two new projects in Midtown and Brickell

The Related Group is developing two new projects including the 400-unit Hyde Midtown inside the Midtown Miami community and 1,000-unit Brickell Heights on South Miami Avenue.
The Related Group’s Jorge Perez said Hyde Midtown will be located on lot No. 3 between Midtown 2 and Midtown 4. He said there would be a hotel component in the project.
The Midtown community is one of Miami’s most popular – made up of rental apartments, condominiums and retail and restaurants. In addition to a retail shopping center anchored by Target, there is aWalmart planned for the area.
Brickell Heights would be located at 801 South Miami Ave. and would be made up of three towers.
News of plans for Brickell Heights comes as word circulates that EnV at Mary Brickell Village, now under construction, is going to be a condo called Nine at Mary Brickell Village instead of a rental.
The Related Group is on a tear with hundreds of units currently under construction in the downtown Miami/Brickell area and the nearby Edgewater neighborhood.
