Related Spends $100-Fricken-Million On 444 Brickell Avenue

Jorge Perez & the Related Group just plunked down about $100 million, yes $100,000,000 for four acres on Brickell Avenue and the Miami River at 444 Brickell Avenue, currently the site of an aging and frankly really ugly office building, where the Capital Grill is currently located. The sale will close today according to several sources, says SFBJ. What Related now builds there will undoubtedly be huge, to recoup their investment, and perhaps designed by Arquitectonica, Jorge’s favorite firm and the architects of Related’s similarly massive Icon Brickell, across the street.
