Related’s Baltus House, Marea Both Break Ground Tomorrow

Probably trying to save a buck on gold shovel rentals, the Related Group is having groundbreakings for two of their latest bold-named new condo projects—namely Marea Miami Beach on the tippy-tip of South Beach and Baltus House just north of the Design District—tomorrow. As these groundbreaking things are always kind of a ceremonial formality rather than an actual beginning of anything, site work has already begun on both sites, but hey it doesn’t officially count until somebody hurls one of those gold shovels at Jorge Perez, does it? That’s what you do with those things, right???
