This is What the Biscayne Line Bay Walk Could Look Like
New conceptual renderings of the Biscayne Line bay walk proposal sent over by the Related Group give us a look at how they envision it eventually being implemented. The renderings show a wide walkway of various materials along its length, with room for bicyclists, pedestrians, benches, lots of shade trees, and natural grassy marsh-looking stuff sticking out in the bay. Perhaps that stuff is a restoration of native habitats?
The first rendering shows a boardwalk circling a green area, which could either be Margaret Pace Park, or the empty area behind the Miami Women’s Club. In the second rendering, the line approaches a bridge, possibly placing it at Resorts World Miami. And in the third, the Julia Tuttle Causeway is off in the distance, placing this section near the north of Edgewater, possibly behind Paraiso Bay.
